FEA Results

In: Data_base tree structure->FE Model

The FE-results can be defined at nodes, at elements or at nodes of elements (non-averaged). An import of a printout at integration points of elements is not enabled. Typical view on FE-results in the case of results at nodes of elements is depicted in the following figure:

There is a frame at the top of the window, which refers to the description, which variable is shown (here stress tensors) and which is the related element set. There is the location at which are the results given. The parameters step, increment and layer currently do not have any relation to PragTic data management. The table itself contains in each row the element ID, node ID (see that the there are 8 nodes in the element 4) and Pos, which is an abbreviation for position. If the shells or beams are processed, the results can be here related to the TOP or BOT (bottom) face or C, D, E, F points of the a beam cross-section.
